Description
For my Mythology class, we had to do an art project and I decided to do a series of Celtic/Norse goddesses in the Art Nouveau style. This is the first one, Morrigan.
In Celtic mythology, Morrigan is called the Phantom Queen, and she's a shapeshifter. When death is near, she takes the shape of a raven. Some people believe she may be connected to the Morgan Le Fay from Arthurian legend.
So, that was your mythology lesson of the day.

Love mythology! Thank you for sharing this! I've also heard a variation of Morgaine Le Fay.
Did you use watercolors and pencil here? Excellent work imho.
