I love these silhouettes -- do you lay them over paper or canvas and then paint over them? I was strongly interested in that a while ago but wasn't liking how my silhouettes turned out. Your work is inspiring me to try again!
Not sure if I entirely understand the question... my brain. I don't do any painting with these. The cut outs you see are all cut from a solid piece of paper and mounted on an acid-free backing.
What I mean is, have you ever cut out a silhouette and then put that silhouette on top of paper or canvas, painted over it, and then removed the cut-out so that the silhouette image remained, now with paint all around it? I guess the answer is no, but I figured I'd clarify what I was asking so you're not confused
